Relatively unknown in France, The Mercer Brand is a Dutch sustainable high-end footwear and apparel label. Its story brings us all the way to Mercer Street, New York, where founder Pim Dresen bought his first pair of shoes at the age of 10, a turning point that would ignite his passion for fashion and, more specifically, sneakers. The name of the brand is taken from this pivotal episode in the fashion designer’s life, and the logo evokes the map of Amsterdam, where Pim Dresen lives. The brand offers unisex pieces made in BSCI-certified factories in Italy and Portugal, with an emphasis on sustainable development. Made in collaboration with with the label producing the garments for the five biggest baseball teams, and using materials by Loro Piana and other high-end suppliers, The Mercer Brand’s latest pieces could only be in limited edition. Undeniably hot, cool, and luxurious. The collection is set to make quite a fast sold-out.
