Alber Elbaz understands what fashion needs today. If you ask us, he just « won » couture week with the digital launch of his new label, AZ Factory. His presentation, in the form of a film that was inclusive, technology-oriented, joyous and inspired at once, gathered everything the fashion-savvy and socially woke clients need today. Elbaz’s fashion is shareable, reusable, and made with upcycled materials, all the while remaining highly desirable. With a film mixing behind-the-scenes bits (featuring French actress Amira Casar!), TV shows spoofs, fashion weather forecast – and more! – the designer showed his immense creative power. We have to admit it, it’s hard to measure up! In fact, Alber Elbaz seems to have found clothing solutions to our new reality made of Zoom calls and home offices, i.e. workout clothes that transform into personal couture, highly chic pointed sneakers, and statement jewelry.
