We may hear less of him these days, however, that doesn’t mean Richard Branson is slowing down in some paradisiacal retreat. Quite the opposite, he’s still very much active. Case in point, he recently inaugurated a spectacular hotel on the island of Majorca. This new Son Bunyola hotel is located in a 16th-century Finca housing only 26 rooms, all featuring a soothing decor and offering a breathtaking view from the hilltop where it is nestled. Oil press, vegetable garden, adjoining vineyard, immaculate cuisine, everything has been thought of. Including the spectacle of the local eagles, recently reintroduced to the region and captivating us with the sublime arabesques they draw in the sky.
