A kaleidoscopic celebration of eras and techniques: Chroma is the new moquette collection designed by Serena Confalonieri for Radici Carpet, the historic Italian textile flooring brand. Unveiled during Milan Design Week 2025, the collection blends artistic references, bold chromatic palettes and playful geometric patterns that evoke both nostalgia and a pop-futurist vibe. Each carpet tells a visual story, reaffirming the expressive power of color as a bridge between past and present.
The collaboration with Radici—deeply rooted in Italian craftsmanship yet open to experimental design—embodies the enduring vitality of Made in Italy. Meanwhile, Confalonieri also presented Jambo, a series of vases made from recycled flip-flops collected from the Kenyan coast, created with social enterprise Ocean Sole. The project was featured in Can you imagine?, a group show curated by Federica Sala for Secondome at Rossana Orlandi Gallery.
