Romaric André, AKA seconde-seconde, stumbled upon watches by chance. After a professional setback, he was looking for a career change that would appeal to him. While he appreciated vintage watches, he was also a digital culture enthusiast. By chance, he transformed the seconds hand of some watches into pixelated images on his computer. The result was so surprising that he immediately met with great success when he shared his idea on Instagram. From personal special orders to collabs, seconde-seconde quickly made a name for itself, a name that has reached the ears of MAD, a renowned Parisian watch tuner, who suggested he tackle a legend, the Royal Oak.
