Milan Design Week is full of hidden gems. There, at the crossroads of fashion and design, Saint Laurent is unveiling a singular installation. Few people are aware of this, but Yves Saint Laurent used to admire artist Charlotte Perriand very much. Sometimes eclipsed by other male artists of her time such as Le Corbusier and Jeanneret, he would still collect many of her best works, furniture of course, but also pictures. At the occasion of Milan Design Week, Anthony Vaccarello chose four of her emblematic drawings and prototypes to be produced: a bookshelf, a sofa, an armchair and a coffee table. Exhibited from April 8th to 13th at the salon, which fills the city with creativity for almost a week, these stunning creations will be photographed in Milan, which will then be displayed in Paris.
