Fondazione Sozzani in Milan hosts Traccia I, a manifesto-event marking the official debut of Saelf, the brand founded by Giulia Spitaleri. As the first chapter of an open-ended series, the initiative launches a synergic collaboration between Saelf and the Foundation, in the name of a fashion that becomes living art and collective gesture.
At the heart of the evening is the “Wall of Interpretation,” a participatory installation where guests are invited to leave behind words, marks, and symbols. Ephemeral traces that will become living matter: the graphic foundation of Saelf’s next collection. A fashion that captures the present and turns it into shared memory.
Opening this evolving cycle is the encounter with artist Alessandro Calabrese: three exclusive garments feature his work Hierarchy of Genres, made available to the brand through a collaboration with Viasaterna. The original piece will also be on view in the space—a threshold between artwork and garment.
Marking the rhythm of the evening is a performance by Lara Damaso, a physical and vocal act designed to activate the space and spark connection. This is how Saelf presents itself to the city for the first time—not as a conventional brand, but as a shared vision, where each collection springs from the present and every gesture becomes form. Save the date: June 10.
