Royal Scotsman, A Belmond Train: A Train May Hide Another

While most people are familiar with the Belmond luxury hotels owned by LVMH, few know about the company’s trains, which have been running in Europe and abroad since 1982. One of them, the Royal Scotsman, looks like something out of a novel. With its 10 tremendously luxurious wagons, including one dedicated to the spa area, it allows guests to discover the surrounding Scottish countryside the old-fashioned way. Depending on the route you choose, the train takes us from treasure to treasure like a traveling hotel. Each Edwardian cabin has its own bathroom,  smells of mahogany and infuses the softness of tartan.  Here you can read, stroll and chat. With its gourmet kitchen and a lecturer to give you the cultural context of each stage of the journey, you now know that one train can hide another.
