While NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens) are getting increasingly popular among art collectors, Rimowa has joined the party in the most skillful way. Teaming up with design studio Nuova, the luxury luggage maker has come up with four artworks inspired by the art of travel and the aesthetic of 1960s airlines. The digital objects (a luggage cart, a lamp, a table and a sound system) will all be sold at auction on May 18th. They all feature Rimowa’s iconic markers: the aluminum, the telescopic handle or the mini-wheels – all of which have made the reputation of the brand over the years.
