This watch was inspired by a NASA photo showing the reflection of the earth in an astronaut’s visor. The most impressive is undoubtedly the rendering of the earth in high-fire enamel obtained by adding pigments and successive firings at 850°. This mastery of the ancestral craftsmanship of fine watchmaking mixed with a futuristic universe is undoubtedly what makes this watch so special to observe. Last but not least, the diamonds placed on each side of the helmet symbolize the small lights of these pioneers. The artist, already a great collector of Richard Mille, combines his fascination for the cosmos with his passion for watchmaking.
