The Parisian gallerist has invited 6 artists to produce 5 original pieces that resonate with the Antifer collection. Florence Grundeler, French yet well versed in Chinese language and culture, is familiar with the interplay between void and substance, and is interested in line and the importance of lines. Victoire d’Harcourt’s sculptures playfully explore the interweaving of geometric figures, like links in a jewel whose ovals and circles are punctuated by angles. Photographer François Kenesi also incorporates geometrical exploration into his drawings, reflecting on the Maison’s longstanding source of inspiration. Parisian sculptor Michel Kirsch works with slate, mastering a technique where light plays a game of concealing and revealing the silences and breaths of its mineral folds. Marine Vu sculpts paper to explore its reliefs, voids and solids, like Antifer. Last but not least, Repossi shares an Italian heritage with ceramist Guido de Zan, as well as a taste for playfulness and the unconventional.
