Porsche x L’Art de l’Automobile: the 968, icon of tomorrow

The Porsche 968 came out 30 years ago. Following in the footsteps of the Porsche 944, and with hints to the 928, the new kid on the block is trying to find its groove. But because it was still trying to hold on to the success of the previous models, the 968 was lacking character. It ultimately lived through the 1990s without experiencing the success it deserved. Arthur Karakoumouchian, the founder of Paris’ most prestigious garage, L’Art de l’Automobile, is a fashion, art and cool culture enthusiast. Naturally, he wanted to pay tribute to this forgotten gem, and chose Paris Fashion Week to unveil his neo-futuristic vision of the car along with a streetwear collection. We couldn’t be more happy with this initiative to open up car culture to a broader audience.
