Porsche 930 Turbo X Daniel Arsham : the coolest of cars

After putting his spin on the 992 model last year, Daniel Arsham continues his collaboration with Porsche by tackling one of the iconic models of the 1980s: the 930 Turbo. The star artist, represented by the Perrotin gallery, is used to collaborating with big brands like Dior and Apple, so he took this new opportunity with Porsche to completely redesign the vehicle. The seats are a mix of blue Alcantara and white leather, and not a centimeter of this iconic car was forgotten. The aficionados would most certainly have noticed the reference to another genius, the late Steve Jobs. In 1980, the Porsche 935, prepared by the Kremer brothers and reserved by a stable close to Cupertino, was in need of finding a new partner to finish the season. Steve Jobs, whose company was on the rise but sill looked to gain notoriety before being listed on the stock exchange for the first time, immediately grasped the opportunity to have his name broadcasted on public television. Today, Arsham once again proves he knows how to connect past and present, and that the Porsche 935 is without a doubt the coolest of cars.
