Launched in 1978, the Porsche 928 was immediately declared Car of the Year. With its curvaceous styling, technical innovations and unprecedented performance, the 928 screamed modernity. And thus made the rest of the production line obsolete. But a few years later, the unbeatable 928 was actually beaten by the new 911 chassis, and the 90s finished burying it. And in a car culture where anything other than the 911 has a hard time finding its place, other Porsches have a tough time existing. But for Daniel Arsham, star artist and absolute Porsche fan, it was time to pay tribute to this little-known car by creating a brand new version mixing influences from the 70s and the 2000s.
