The trend of vintage Porsche Safaris is not over yet. After the 911, the 928 and the 944, it was the turn of the little 924 to get a special treatment. The cheapest! Finally! Behind this project, Vagabund’s wizards, who team up once more with Nine Eleven and the Austrian DakarGarage. Powered by a slightly modified version of the 944’s inline four-cylinder, the 924 offers 150 horsepower with a five-speed gearbox. The suspension is improved with a lift kit, skid plate and off-road steel wheels. Rally lights, a roof rack with a crush-resistant body and a spare wheel are part of the package, as well as the tuner’s recognizable exterior decoration. The cherry on top, a Sparco steering wheel and chequered seats that add a sporty neo-retro touch to its cockpit.
