During the Milan Design Week, Pan Records (Berlin record label founded in 2008 by Bill Kouligas) and Nike presented “The Suspended Hour”, an immersive installation inside Capsule Plaza that explores clubbing as a contemporary ritual. Reason? To celebrate the launch of the new PAN x NIKE AIR MAX 180 “NIX”, the experience developed as an emotional map of a night at the disco, retracing its phases: Anticipation, Discovery, Euphoria, Twilight and Solitude.
Under the creative direction of Bill Kouligas and Niklas Bildstein Zaar, the Milanese space has been transformed into a mnemonic and sensorial landscape, where sound, light and matter tell the memories and visions of the dancefloor.
The sneaker, available from April 9th on p-a-n.bandcamp.com and from the 12th on SNKRS and selected retailers, blends club aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship. Two colorways – black and yellow – with a “worn-in” finish and heat-shrinkable upper, designed for resistance and night-time comfort.
