The most iconic scene from the film “The Thomas Crown Affair” (1968) takes place on a wild beach: driven by Steve McQueen, an orange buddy springs from the dunes with a rumbling noise. Since then, the buggy brand founded by Bruce Meyers has remained a reference for beach cars, and this latest version presented by Otto Werks is a worthy tribute to its reputation. The engine is a WERKS-made 2.2 Liter Willhoit delivering 170 horsepower, also featuring original 356 motor pieces, including gauges, Speedster seats, beehive tail lamps and Milspec cables. Only 5 units have been planned and all are already reserved, but given its success, a second drop is likely.
