In the beginning, Louis Vuitton was designing products for travellers. The family’s talent was to create travel items for the great explorers of the last century, with the only constraint being that they had to fit into a trunk. Made with a rare ingenuity, these travel trunks were designed to provide basic comfort and amenities, transforming into dining tables, showers or camp beds. Taking up this last idea, Nicolas Ghesquière offered a new interpretation of this camp bed, embellished with various decorative elements brought by Louis Vuitton.
