After the retro fit automobile, vintage-inspired motorcycles are going high voltage. Originally, scramblers were road bikes used by amateurs after the war. On the agenda: handlebars, wide tires and raised suspensions. For the rest, nothing has changed. And that’s precisely where everything changes: with their hybrid look blending the road and a sense of adventure, the scramblers look wild. One of the first fans? Steve McQueen, the king of cool who modified his Triumph. Given their success in their thermal version over the last ten years or so, it’s not surprising that some inspired innovators ended up presenting an electric version. With Michel Riis’ savoir-faire, a former flat track champion, Switch developed this version with solid performance: 0 to 100 in 3.5 seconds and 150km of autonomy.
