The poetry of gesture meets the precision of steel in Halesia, the new table lamp designed by Michael Anastassiades for Alessi. Born from the collaboration between the renowned Cypriot-British designer and the Italian design house, Halesia brings elegance, technology and visual softness to everyday moments.
Two polished stainless steel domes, inspired by the flower Halesia Carolina, conceal the indirect LED source. With a simple twist of the upper shell, the lamp turns on and adjusts its brightness, offering an interface-free and instinctive interaction.
Entirely made in Alessi’s factory in Omegna, Halesia is rechargeable, portable and beautifully reflective—like a luminous sculpture on the table. “The idea was to design an object that becomes part of the mise en place, reflecting the table and softly illuminating the space,” says Anastassiades. The result is a refined and functional piece that perfectly expresses Alessi’s vision of Applied Arts.
