To celebrate the beauty of the human body, Valérie Messika (who founded her eponymous jewelry brand in 2005) teamed up with dancer Fanny Sage. As part of this aerial and colorful collection titled ‘Magnetic Attraction’, Sage used the power of movement to show that Messika’s designs are everything but static. While jewelry often is synonymous with fragility, Valérie Messika’s creations were never designed to stay inside a safe. No, they’re meant to be worn on every occasion. The designer made a name for herself with this modern approach: Freeing the object from its historical constraints, all the while never demystifying it.
