It’s because of people like them that France continues to raise the bar of the international hotel and restaurant industries. Founded in 2007 by a group of four friends, Experimental Group has remained faithful to their original formula: to look for inspiration in all places and adapt their experiences to their local public, to always keep their eyes open and a curious spirit. When it came to work on a hotel project in Menorca, the Mediterranean jewel, they started by asking the same usual questions: what do we want? But most of all, what do we not want? To find answers, they called on Dorothée Meilichzon, their longstanding architect, to dive into the island’s history and culture in order to get its true essence. The result: a magnificent historical farm, which has been rehabilitated while still staying true to its original state. It is located just a few steps away from a secret crique, which divine waters await to bless our body and soul tired by city-living. With a minimalist interior design, (and the spirit of Miró upon us at all times), the local cuisine (with the garden’s products!) which aromas are a French chef’s doing, and the crafted pool, this jewel surrounded by olive trees invites to serene contemplation.
