Mehdi Dakhli x The Alpina Gstaad, Design Flirts with Luxury Hospitality

In the heart of the Swiss Alps, Mehdi Dakhli has found the perfect stage for his new furniture collection: The Alpina Gstaad. This icon of the hotel industry is hosting an exclusive pop-up that celebrates the talent of the designer. A partnership that is not only aesthetic, but tells a shared philosophy: that of the pursuit of excellence and the art of savoir-faire.

Dakhli, already well-known for his role as creative consultant for Chalet African in Gstaad, has transformed this space into a mix of fine materials, contemporary lines and references to traditional craftsmanship. His creations, on display until February 16, are not just pieces of furniture, but tell a story where beauty coexists with functionality.

The pop-up will also host the works of two contemporary artists Esther Mahlangu and Seni Awa Camara, selected by Dakhli himself (pictured here next to a work by Thomas Schütte by Thomas Dufour) to give life to a dialogue between design and art. The event in question could only culminate in one of the hottest moments of the winter season in Gstaad: the Rosey weekend (14-16 February), an unmissable event for the international jet set, coinciding with the MAZE Art Gstaad fair.
