To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Maxalto presents its new dormeuse made in collaboration with artist Patrick van Riemsdijk. Living on the island of Palma de Mallorca, the artist draws inspiration from the landscapes around him. An expert at layering paint, he captures the mix of colours and textures offered by the horizon. But beyond all these vibrant colours, van Riemsdijk also strives to instill a sense of calm and tranquillity, which is what a dormeuse is all about. Both a piece of furniture and a work of art, this collaboration is one of spring’s biggest surprises.
