Italian designer Marco Simonetti, who works for RAL7000, has gone one step further than anyone else by using artificial intelligence to design a collaborative collection between Simon Porte Jacquemus and Nike. While everyone knows the two have already produced one of the most coveted sneakers last year, most ignore that Simonetti’s creations are purely virtual, so much so that the coherence and the renderings are uncanny. Designed for an equally nonexistent concept store in Courchevel, this collection has caused a tidal wave among collectors – who were begging the two brands to give substance to this purely artistic project. Staying that, 2023 sounds quite promising!
