Lynda Benglis x LOEWE: Jewelry as Wearable Art

LOEWE has launched an exclusive jewelry collection in collaboration with Lynda Benglis, one of the most influential artists of our time. The collection showcases twenty unique designs, each conceived as a wearable sculpture. Benglis has explored some of her classic motifs, drawing inspiration from techniques such as knotted, pleated, poured, and extruded forms. The original maquettes, created in her Santa Fe studio using aluminum foil, mesh, clay, wire, and polyurethane, have been transformed into rings, bracelets, brooches, earrings, and pendants made of 18-carat gold, sterling silver, aluminum, enamel, and crystal.

Born in Louisiana in 1941, Lynda Benglis has continually redefined the art object over the years. She has employed materials such as polyurethane, latex, glitter, paper, plaster, bronze, and water, creating works that seem to challenge the traditional concept of sculpture. Worn on bodies in constant motion, her jewelry aligns perfectly with her desire to create sculptures in constant transformation.

With this collaboration, LOEWE reaffirms its position as a brand at the forefront of creativity, demonstrating once again how fashion can become a powerful vehicle for cultural expression. The collection, available in stores and on loewe.com, offers enthusiasts the opportunity to own unique pieces that blend high jewelry with contemporary art. Each piece is not just an accessory but a wearable work of art.
