It’s the opening scene of the movie “Octopussy” and certainly a peak in Roger Moore’s career as James Bond: Trying to distract the villains driving a truck, Bond’s accomplice, her legs cleverly undressed, passes them by in her Range Rover convertible. From their elevated truck, the two morons only have eyes for the beautiful girl rather than for agent 007. For all car lovers, this scene highlights one of the missing links in the Land Rover range: the convertible version of its noble cousin, the Range. If some tuners have been working on the matter, it has not been a great success. Fortunately, the English wizards from LUNAZ have just come up with this not only totally updated but also electric version! Silent, powerful, virtuous, modern, it ticks all the boxes of tomorrow’s automobile myths.
