Lorette Colé Duprat is one of the rising stars of jewelry. Approached by Mugler’s artistic director, Casey Cadwallader, the young artist just came into the spotlight with this incredible collection she designed almost at the drop of a hat. In record time, and in the context of a pandemic that makes every process longer and more complicated, she spent entire nights creating her designs. With her hyper sensual aesthetic, she combines Plexiglas and chains on bodies sublimated by her favorite photographer Leon Prost. Together, they write the pages of the new jewelry book that takes inspiration from lingerie and a glossy vision of the future. Her latest collection, titled ‘Copulare’ (‘to tie’ in Latin), perfectly sumps up her spirit.
