For the fifth edition of this capsule collection, Jonathan Anderson asked photographer Gray Sorrenti to shoot a bunch of friends in Mexico City, while they make its colorful and vibrant streets their own. To add a deeper meaning to the line of woven baskets (now a LOEWE staple), Anderson unveiled models made of Iraca palm, which are woven in Colombia by craftswomen who are members of the Corporación Oficio as well as Arte, a NGO helping women become self-sufficient. The prints, all inspired by nature, come from the repertoire of the founders of Paula’s Ibiza, Armin Heinemann and Stuart Rudnick. Parrots, pigeons, and crocodiles all meet a new interpretation of the logo on the collection’s pieces. With bright colors and LOEWE’s unique point of view, this collection is definitely a feel good moment.
