Fendi returns to Design Miami with ænigma, a proposal that blends luxury, craftsmanship and innovation. This collection born from the collaboration with London designer Lewis Kemmenoe is a unique exploration of materiality, where natural elements are mixed with artificial materials, giving life to design pieces outside the box. The collection includes two chairs, a piece of furniture, two wall panels, three lamps and a coffee table, all created with the patchwork technique, a true trademark of Kemmenoe.
The real gem? The reinterpretation of the Peekaboo Soft, one of Fendi’s iconic bags. Kemmenoe created it using a unique construction process, cutting the fine leathers as if they were the pattern of a jacket, and then joining them with his patchwork technique. The result is a bag that is not just an accessory, but a work of art. Therefore ænigma is not just a simple collection, but a close dialogue between design and fashion, between innovation and artisanal savoir-faire. In short, Fendi demonstrates once again how luxury can reinvent itself without ever losing sight of its creative soul.
