Cars and watches share so many ties that they border on a pile-up. L’Epée 1839, manufacturer of the world’ s coolest watches, took the analogy one step further, looking back at the golden age of motor racing. The Jaguar D-Type, which stands out from the crowd with its aerodynamic extension over the driver’s head, seems to be the greatest achievement of that time. And so, the “Time Fast II” was built on an aluminum H-frame, while the three-way steering wheel (which tells the time) was designed just like in a real sports car. Likewise, the spoked wheels are made of the same stainless steel and their soft rubber tires filled with a special foam mimic the pressure and the small sag of the sidewall. All in all, we truly are standing in pole position.
