Kim Jones x Hennessy XO: Contemporary Flavors

Both artistic director of men’s fashion at Dior and head of women’s ready-to-wear collections at Fendi, Kim Jones was invited to design a very original partnership with Hennessy XO, the best-selling cognac in the world, by creating an exclusive collection. Between couture and cognac, the creativity of the British designer was had to take into account the 150 years of history of the French house. The result? Three exclusive pieces: the Masterpiece decanter, a limited edition Hennessy XO “Ready-To-Wear” bottle and a pair of limited edition HNY Low by Kim Jones sneakers. The sneakers, inspired by early basketball shoes, are made of cognac-colored nubuck leather and manufactured in an Italian shoe factory owned by LVMH, the company that owns Hennessy. 

The Hennessy XO x Kim Jones logo is visible at the bottom of the sole, while the initials KJ and the Hennessy emblem adorn the heel. “I wanted to reflect both the heritage of cognac and my values as a designer,” said Kim Jones. “Thus, a cognac glass in the shape of a sneaker was born.
