This was the place for kings and queens to learn how to swim and, for a more contemporary nobility, to venture into water skiing. However, new winds are accosting the Monaco Beach Club, changing the atmosphere of its emblematic dock and surrounding swimming pool: Jacquemus has set foot. The deckchairs have been enveloped in the label’s signature colour palette, boasting a vibrant banana yellow look alongside striped parasols that sway in the sea breeze. By setting up shop during summer, the French Maison is imbuing this coveted beach with its unmistakable touch of coolness. Going far beyond aesthetics, this collaboration includes two exclusive ephemeral boutiques at the heart of the resort, marking Jacquemus’ first steps in the Principality. Designed as poetic havens, they combine rustic furniture, original sketches by Renoir and Matisse, and a selection of pieces evoking the fashion designer’s native Provence.
