Jimmy Choo presents a limited edition capsule in collaboration with Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon to mark the 30th anniversary of the manga. Led by Sandra Choi and Naoko Takeuchi, creative director of the British luxury fashion house and creator of the manga respectively, this collection celebrates boldness and femininity – core values shared by the two brands. The capsule is about pop culture and the influence of manga, tropes that are revisited through Jimmy Choo’s glamorous lens. The result? Footwear and accessories inspired by the iconic main characters of the manga phenomenon, the Sailor Guardians, whose unique personalities we find transferred into each piece in terms of colour and style. A glamorous fusion of pop culture and high fashion that is available online and exclusively in Europe at Selfridges from February 14.
