Considering Hublot’s founder’s penchant for skiing, it’s hardly surprising that the brand would partner with one of Switzerland’s most beautiful ski areas. At the launch of Hublot’s renaissance, former sky champion Jean-Claude Biver didn’t hesitate to link the two worlds and even created an ultra-limited edition pair of skis in collaboration with ski manufacturer Zai. And while the businessman is now retired, his passion for skiing lives on. A quick look around when you take the lifts at the resort will tell you one thing: all the watches are Hublots. The only thing that was missing was the dedication of a watch to a destination. Well, that’s now done with this Big Bang Zermatt edition. A watch inspired by the color codes of the mountains, and whose counter pointing at nine o’clock features an engraving of the local peak, the Matterhorn.
