2023 saw their first collaboration in Zermatt with “Frozen in Time: Daniel Arsham in Zermatt”, a monumental installation at the foot of the Matterhorn, where the artwork “Light & Time”, a sundial of twenty metres in diameter, blended art, nature and temporality in a snow-covered landscape. The duo continued their adventure in 2024 with Droplet, an experimental pocket watch featuring a unique design and ergonomic integration of the manufacture movement. Some eighteen months later, a third chapter unfolds with Splash, a wrist-worn artwork produced in a limited edition of just 99 pieces. The timepiece, featuring curved lines inspired by water waves, combines transparency, texture and visual balance. Its 42 mm titanium case, finished with a polished, laser-textured sapphire crystal that gives it a frosted effect, boasts a grey dial inspired by the mineral hues so dear to the artist. Out of the three collaborations, this is undoubtedly the most compelling and accomplished.
