It is amid polar temperatures, atop the mountain of Zermatt, that American artist Daniel Arsham has installed his twenty-meter diameter sundial. Baptised “light and time”, this ephemeral installation will serve as inspiration for the creation of a very special dial. Internationally renowned for a multidisciplinary practice that blends the wear of time and contemporary culture, also described as “mythical contemporary archaeology”, Daniel Arsham thus joins the rich artistic bench of the Manufacture.
