Back in 1907, a hotel known as the Bellevue opened its doors. Almost 120 years later, the property is still standing but under a new name, Drei Berge (Three Mountains), and under new ownership, that of Ramdane Touhani. Once homeless, this Moroccan-French creative entrepreneur has now risen to the top. After selling his cosmetics brand Buly to LVMH, this serial entrepreneur has set his sights on a hotel nestling in the foothills of the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1650m. Located in a magnificent valley, where rumour has it that it served as the setting for several scenes of the 1969 James Bond film ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’, the spot knows no shortage of snow. Hard to reach, the sky resort was shielded from the vicissitudes of the 70s construction folly and able to preserve these marvellous century-old chalets.
