The Hôtel Dame des Arts, the previous venture of the small EQ group, had already made a name for itself. So there’s a good chance that this one, also designed by Fabrizio Casiraghi, will follow in its footsteps. Located just a stone’s throw from Gare Montparnasse, its décor is inspired by the golden age of travel, when each departure heralded the start of a long, epic journey. A modernist style rooted in the 50s, where taut lines and industrial curves meet without antagonism. As for the cuisine, a delicious blend of Parisian and New York flavours, with a strong emphasis on their respective shorelines, gives us enough reasons to walk through the restaurant’s doors. Chic yet reasonably priced, this place is well worth a visit.
