We are all familiar with Yamamoto’s sweeping lines and infinite black reminiscent of Soulage style. However, with Ground Y, the designer delivers a bold manifesto on ageless, genderless style that, with its colourful Hell’s Paradise manga motifs, proves he still has his finger on the pulse. To do so, he has teamed up with Crunchyroll, the American platform that gathers all communities of Manga fans, to promote this 13-piece collection featuring Hells’s Paradise’s unique world and characters. For those who aren’t acquainted with the manga, Hell’s Paradise tells the story of a gang of criminals and executioners sent to a remote island to retrieve a precious elixir. The face of this campaign is Seria Anzai, a popular model and actress highly praised by Gen Z, who had also participated in the Ground Y campaign for the 23/24 AW season.
