Grand Hotel Timeo x Louis Vuitton, the Maison’s First Café is in Taormina

The first café signed by Louis Vuitton in Italy is born in Taormina. The space, managed by the Grand Hotel Timeo team at the Belmond Hotel, is located on the first floor of the new boutique that will host the new LV By The Pool men’s and women’s collections by Louis Vuitton, inspired by the blues of the ocean and the warm whites of the Mediterraneo (in addition to the exclusive Taormina Neverfull bag, version of the famous model on sale exclusively in the island store). The Café, which seats 14, has tableware and textiles that blend perfectly with the interior design, while the Vuitton codes coexist in symbiosis with typical Sicilian taste. Large plants and the Bulbo armchair evoke a flourishing and creative atmosphere in the room. The main room, completed by an external wall clad in ceramic tiles with blue graphic motifs, opens under a canopy of undulating fabrics with an expansive view of the sea. The final effect is an intimate, elegant and sophisticated oasis, which offers service throughout the day and two menus, one savory and one sweet, which are almost a compendium of legendary Sicilian cuisine. They range from croissants with pistachio cream to mini cassata and arancini. The aperitif presents these specialties as part of a wider selection proposed by Chef Roberto Toro. Last note: the offer also includes an à la carte menu and a drink menu, which includes the ultra-fresh “Taormina Spritz”. Amazing! By Germano D’Acquisto
