Fondazione Furla and Arte Fiera are joining forces to open a new chapter in the performance programme of the modern and contemporary art fair that opens in Bologna from February 3 to 5. For the first edition of this intriguing collaboration, the foundation created by Giovanna Furlanetto, the face and soul of Furla, has invited the Israeli collective Public Movement to discover Emilia Romagna. Directed by Dana Yahalomi, the collective approaches performances through burning issues related to politics and society. Rescue, is therefore the name of the original project presented as a political dance halfway between installation and choreography. In a setting evoking rubble, five dancers twirl in movements inspired by the training of rescue workers in Israel and Europe. The aim is to highlight the dynamics that govern our relationship with others, and thus to bring us a little closer together.
