Lake Como is often imagined in a somewhat cinematic way. Centuries-old palaces, leaning against the lake, with sky-high prices. A more reasonable offer also exists, of which the neighboring Milanese are fond, but jealously keep the address a secret. We managed to find one of them: the Filario. With its private beach, lovely huts, and a no less enchanting Riva, the establishment ticks all the appropriate boxes of the destination.
