FC Barcelona x The Rolling Stones, Football Has Never Been So Rock

The collaboration you don’t expect: the one between the Barcelona football team and the Rolling Stones. The partnership, announced by the club together with Spotify and Nike, was signed on the occasion of the most important match of the season: in fact, on 28 October there will be El Clasìco, which will see the Blaugrana team challenge Real Madrid. On that day the legendary Rolling Stones logo, “Tongue and Lips”, will replace the sponsor on the Catalan team’s shirt. A sort of rock style lucky charm. Spotify didn’t limit itself to the shirt and then created a new Matchday Playlist, celebrating the occasion with a selection of the “best of” of the legendary English band who just recently launched their new album, Hackney Diamonds. Starting from October 23rd, two versions of the game shirts went on sale: the FC Barcelona x The Rolling Stones Limited Edition (Limited Edition series of 1899 match shirts) and the very rare FC Barcelona x The Rolling Stones Signed Limited Edition (only 22 shirts signed by the players who will take the field for the La Liga supermatch). And that’s not all. Barcellona and the Rolling Stones have decided to create a limited edition capsule collection including t-shirts, bucket hats, hoodies and much more, all dominated by the iconic logos of the Stones, Spotify and Barça himself. More rock than that… By Germano D’Acquisto
