Now based in London, the small Slovakian manufacturer Engler Automotive made a name for itself a few years ago with a hybrid vehicle, halfway between a quad and a supercar, which was powered by the V10 engine of the Audi R8. They’ve now taken it a step further with a new model powered this time by a 1184 HP V12 engine. Company founder Viktor Engler said he dared to build the Engler V12 for a customer who wanted something even more exclusive and “crazy” than anything that had been made before. The car is able to reach 400 km/h and is probably a hellish ride, but the twenty or so examples scheduled for production have already been sold out… From time to time, we all need a way out of this era where everything is so standardized: a modern-day madness.
