Founded in 2009 by Coralie Barbier and her husband Paul Van Haver (commonly known as Stromae), the Mosaert collective creates fashion in tune with our times: inclusive, genderless, sustainable, and most of all independent. Mosaert (which is an anagram for Stromae) also refers to the creative studio creating music videos for some of the best artists of today (Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Orelsan…). The collective works in creative direction as well, and alongside institutions, notably on the Paris bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Car manufacturer Mini has always made a goal of reinventing modern mobility since the 1960s, and now offers a fully electric range of vehicles. The collaboration with Mosaert yet again shows the desire to step into modernity. This collection is all about twisting historical fabrics like tartan or ‘toile de Jouy’ and incorporate them into a limited series of 400 cars. On the fashion side, a capsule collection of 18 silhouettes for men and women will be available online on April 22nd.
