Deus Ex Machina x Breitling, A Super Watch Ready to Become an Icon

Following the success of their previous collaborations – both limited editions were sold out – Breitling and Deus Ex Machina join forces one more time. The Swiss watchmaker founded in 1884 and the Australian brand of clothing for custom motorcycles and surfboards come together to create the eagerly awaited third edition of the Top Time Deus. This new timepiece is destined to become another sought-after piece of the iconic Breitling collection. Equipped with a black dial in contrast with the triple register counters and the white tachymeter scale, the newcomer changes register: it moves away from its predecessors characterized by Technicolor nuances and chooses monochrome. But without ever missing touches of colour, present both on the outer dial and on the central chronograph hand which, as in the two previous editions of the Top Time Deus, has the shape of a lightning bolt. Once again, the engine of this super watch is the Breitling Manufacture calibre 01, while the open sapphire crystal case-back features the typical red Deus logo. There are two options to combine the timepiece: the first with a racing-themed black calfskin strap, the second with a Milanese mesh steel bracelet. The watch was presented on the occasion of Wheels & Waves, the surf and motorcycle festival set up in Biarritz, France. We couldn’t think of a better location for the unveiling.
