Daniel Arsham and the Porsche 911 share a lasting love story. The sculptor is an enthusiastic collector of the most exclusive versions of the Porsche 911. Until now, however, he had never ventured into the realm of its ancestor, the 356. The astonishing “Bonsai” version blends the spirit of the original with contemporary notes. The raw brushed metal exteriors were designed with John Willhoit – of Willhoit Auto Restoration – and Matthew Ammirati – of the Bridgehampton Motoring Club – while the interiors are dressed in Japanese denim inspired in part by fashion curator POGGY and BerBerJin director Yutaka Fujihara. As always with Arsham, nothing is left to chance.
