Her destiny seemed to be all mapped out. A prestigious business school that landed her a position at a cosmetics giant. However Claire Roche’s strong artistic vision disrupted this plan. Deeply rooted and burning inside her was the will to create something that reflected the time she was living in and her convictions. Claire subsequently decided to embrace her calling and went on to study jewellery in her mother state, Drôme – which is now the home to her creations too. The raw materials that compose Claire’s jewellery are all up-cycled and given a new lie. Whether made from second-hand silver or 18-carat gold, her collections are impressively visual: Claire’s signature is perfectly shaped. Beyond genders, her collection is highlighted through minimalistic images, stripped from any unnecessary props. The echo to the vision of today’s youth.
