Caterham and the Royal Air Force teamed up and unveiled a unique car which was built using components from a Puma HC2 helicopter that has come to the end of its service life. This special edition of the Caterham Seven 360R aims to raise over 100,000 dollars for injured service men and women, thanks to an online auction sale on the website Collecting Cars. This special build uses the external aluminium skin of the aircraft, the internal quilted soundproofing and the military grade switchgear. The three-stage ignition sequence, which imitates the aircraft’s start-up, hits its mark. On the dashboard, we can find the aircraft’s navigational clock while the outside of the car remains unpainted for authenticity reasons. Because it is ultra exclusive and celebrates a noble cause, this model deserves our attention.
